Access to information

Access to information is a basic human right protected by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, European Convention on Human Rights, and other legal acts. It is a guaranteed right of all natural and legal persons to receive information in the possesion of public state entities in Croatia, irrelevant of the purpose they would be used for.

According to the Law of Access to Information, "information is any data in the possession of a public institution, in the form of a document, record, file, registry, irrelevant of the type of data presentation (written, drawn, printed, recorded, magnet, optical, electronic, or other), which the instution made individually or in cooperation or received from a third party, and which was made in the instution's domain or related to organisation and work of public institutions".

Access to information in University Hospital of Split can be achieved:

  1. in written
    • by land post  or personal delivery to room 9 in the Directorate building (Službenik za informiranje KBC-a Split, Spinčićeva 1, 21 000 Split), and
    • via e-mail at informiranje.sluzbenik@kbsplit.hr
