Most hospital buildings in the Križine and Firule locations have access adapted for persons with disabilities. Specified parking spaces and a path to the main entrance are provided. Accompanying persons should contact the nurse at the information counter.
All staircases, elevators and existing differences in height are equipped with grips. Elevators have customized control panels. Entrances, doors and corridors are wide enough for wheel chair maneuvering.
Persons with visual impairments and persons with limited mobility have access to hospital support staff to help them move between hospital buildings and the ambulance.
Hospital’s beds on wheels and wheel chairs can be used, and are located next to the information counter at the entrance to the Polyclinic.
Fully equipped sanitary facility for persons with disabilities is located in the waiting room of the Department of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics.
