My husband, suffered a perforation of the intestine while we were in Split, Croatia. He had to undergo emergency surgery, which started just 45 minutes after we arrived at the hospital. I am writing this email to express my deepest gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, and everyone working at KBC Split who contributed to my husband's care and recovery during his hospitalization. He received medical attention of exceptional competence and, above all, with great humanity and kindness. We truly felt safe and supported during this very difficult time in our lives.
